Four Young Women Scientists Began Inertia Lab.
Driven by a shared passion for addressing the challenges women face monthly, four young women joined forces to establish INERTIA lab. Led by Hyoyi Kim, a former AI application researcher in the medical field, they recognized the lack of satisfactory solutions and embarked on a two-year journey to develop an absorbent material that prioritizes both women's well-being and sustainability. In 2021, their efforts culminated in the launch of INERTIA, a company offering organic cotton sanitary pads infused with their innovative plant-based absorbent, Labocell™.
